Why prices vary so much
Three things drive the price of a dent repair: size, depth, and location on the panel. A 2-inch dent on a flat door panel is straightforward. The same dent on a body line, or pressed into a sharp curve near the wheel arch, takes 3x the time. We quote you the price BEFORE we touch the car, so there are no “while we were in there…” surprises.
Why we’re cheaper than a body shop — by a lot
A traditional body shop has to mask, sand, fill, prime, paint, clear-coat, and blend. That’s 4-7 days of labor, paint materials, and a paint booth. A typical body shop dent repair runs $650 – $1,400. Paintless dent repair (PDR) skips every one of those steps. We work the metal back into shape from behind the panel, and your factory paint is preserved. Same outcome (often better), at 20-40% of body-shop pricing.
What we charge for mobile service
The mobile service fee is included in the dent repair price. We don’t add a trip charge for Sacramento, Roseville, Folsom, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Carmichael, or any of our 38 service area cities. Single-dent jobs are the same price whether you bring the car to us or we come to you.
Insurance work
If your dent is from another driver, parking-lot incident, or hail event, your insurance likely covers PDR. Most California carriers prefer PDR over body shop work because it’s cheaper and faster. We bill them directly — you usually pay nothing out of pocket beyond your deductible.
